I stayed here last year but feel it has gone down hill since then, I had booked a deluxe room (as before) but the room I was allocated could not be so described. There was no sofa, just a sort of padded bench, there were no bedside lights so not possible to read in bed except with full room light on & switch on far side of room. The window looked directly on to the wall of the next building so hardly any natural light. The skirting boards were coming away from the wall. My room was not serviced during my stay. In the bathroom there was a thick brown line of some indeterminate substance all around the wash basin, when I complained it was more or less cleaned off. There was water on the floor behind the toilet and an unpleasant smell at times. The communal kitchen area on the top floor looked messy and neglected. To cap it all when I checked out it was not possible to pay by card as the machine was broken and had, apparently been so for at least a week.

These are what I got when I got a room in the hotel. When I checked in and I opened the door, everything seems nice. The room was quite clean. There was windows there but no view at all. I took a look outside and it was the window to the back of the hotel. I went to the bathroom and it was terrible. The floor was super wet , water was everywhere like someone just used it. The cup was super dirty. Slippers were old and broken. I found some people's hair at the corner of the room. It was really terrible. I didn't dare to touch other cups to drink water. Later in the evening I came back and the room smell horrible like there was a dead mouse somewhere. I had to go to my friend's house to sleep that night because I couldn't suffer the dirty bathroom and bad smell all over the room. I felt like I wasted money for nothing

My first impression on this hotel is that the entrance is down a slope (look like a garage entrance to a house - literally). Small reception area, well and modern decorated sitting area. It looks like a modern and simple local hotel, which better than most of the run down local hotel in Hanoi. The room is clean, airy and bright. I was surprised that the room is actually spacious, white walls with chic and modern painting. The toilet is clean and spacious as well. I was pleased that the room surpass my expectation for such weird entrance. The staff are helpful, even though only some speak English but they were pretty friendly. The room is being nicely clean everyday and fresh toiletries are provided everyday. Overall, I would totally recommend this place for anyone who want to stay in a nice and clean hotel with a fraction of the price. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back to Hanoi.

This hotel has only been open six months so is still fresh and new looking. The rooms are basic hotel rooms with en suite. There is a small fridge and an electric kettle but no English tea bags or milk, or cups or mugs though there are glasses. The free WiFi is good, as is the air conditioning. There is a lift and secure parking for cars and bikes if required. The staff are friendly and speak some English but a certain lack in this direction can lead to misunderstandings.. There is a communal kitchen on the top floor but there is a lack of dishes etc for anyone wanting to prepare Western food, just small bowls and no cups or mugs. Be very careful not to get make-up on face flannels or hand towels or you could find yourself paying a fine! The location of the hotel is excellent, being steps away from a supermarket and a bus stop into the city and to the airport. West Lake is a very short walk around the corner. There are several street food places in close proximity.
